I've mentioned my famous painting here but its been awhile.
I thought it was time we came to town, hehe check it out!

Just swing by your nearest thrift store, get some pictures from mags or your scrapbook and have fun!

Nyla loves moving the pictures around and adding more fun to it.
This just makes me giggle, I hope you too!

Set the Scene with your Screen...

So, the other day I was roaming around in the hardware store and of course I grabbed a bunch of those paint cards, not really sure what you call them but the big ones with the interior displays.  I always take them even if I'm not planning on painting right away; I just love all the colors and ideas.

As I was driving home, I came up with this idea... I decided to give my screen door a little bit of fun.

I cut up some of our photographs that I had laying around, cut the words off the paint chips, Nyla added some "word bubbles" and the laughs began.  It's kinda like an new version of paper dolls.  I just stuck everything together with painters tape so that we could move the pieces around.

Our slider door has a frame in it so I decided to put some pictures on the screen door and some inside on the glass, this kinda gives it a shadow box feel.
I'm having a good chuckle from this; everytime the pictures get moved around I laugh more! Although, I am very thankful that all this furniture climbing is well just...not for real!

Pictures came from these really fun days...
Farm Fun,Graffiti Photo ShootMother's Day craft - easy and Nyla's alien, candy-land, circus theme birthday party (which I did not post about but should because it was a blast!)

Doesn't this picture make you want to say,
 "TA-DA!"

This is a free, easy way to enjoy your memories and keep the silliness going.  I hope you have a really fun day! I'm off to hmm... take a snooze.  xxxxoooo Michelle

Halloween craft easy!!

I saw this at the Lacey apple festival and knew I just had to share it with you!  I think this is  perfect for class parties. Nyla had fun making these and then gobblin them up!

Easy!

Plastic gloves (make sure it's not the powder kind, I got ours from Dollar Store but they were gigantic, we had no problem eating them up though :)
tons of popcorn
candy corn
little bat rings (from dollar store)

Fill and "hand" out. (just couldn't help it :)

Thanks Lacey Apple Festival for a great time and this very cute idea!

Nyla & her best bud, Stella having a great time eating their popcorn hands and picking out perfect pumpkins.  We couldn't talk them into the pie eating contest though.

SPARKLE...ROCKS!

So, I have these rocks that Nyla gathers from here and there.  Well, these days I'm really into glitter and as I look at these rocks, I just think they've gotta get in on the action!

These rocks are dressed up, and ready for the disco! You can find more of my easy glitter DIY here.

Have an amazing day seeing things in a different way...xxxxoooo Michelle

Craft Closet Cleanup Lead To...

A new Me!

One day Nyla was bummed that she didn't have a play date.  I suggested that we trace ourselves onto big paper and take stuff from our craft closet and fill us in.

So we did...I envisioned making mine real cool and artsy, filling mine with chakras (to find out more about chakras click here) and insightful things about me.  Nyla quickly got started on hers giving herself a new eye color since she couldn't find something brown, making cool clothes etc.  Before I could really even get to creating, Nyla asked if she could help with mine.  Well, before I new it she took over and gave me a whole new look.

I guess what I learned afterward was to just go for it, don't think to much and have fun.  I did however give myself a purse and Nyla a microphone since she wants to try out for the reality show, America's Got Talent :)

Nyla had a blast, me too, I love how she gave me feather eyelashes, some "cool" in my heart and skinny spindly legs.  My shirt came from here.

We hung our new looks in Nyla's room.  Recently, we  gave her room a makeover from pink walls to Gypsy Blue but she was missing something- she had a big blank space. Now we're bigger than life and Nyla has her Mommy hanging with her even at nighttime.

Have some fun, clear some clutter, don't work on being perfect just you...but in a new way! :) xxxxoooo Michelle

Hey, I really appreciate you stopping by, my blog door is always open! :)

I'm having fun here, come join me!
